Envirosmart Limited installs certain types of blown insulation across most of Scotland. Here’s how the installation process typically works:

Preparation: The area to be insulated is prepared by completing draught proofing sealing any gaps, cracks, or openings. This helps prevent air leakage and ensures the insulation works effectively.

Installation Equipment: Blown-in insulation is installed using specialised equipment. The insulation material is loaded into a machine that fluffs it up and then blows or sprays it into the designated space using high-pressure air. The machine breaks up the insulation material into small particles and propels them into the area to be insulated.

Filling the Space: As the insulation material is blown in, it fills the cavities, gaps, and hard-to-reach spaces within the walls, attic, or other areas. The insulation conforms to the shape of the space, creating a thermal barrier that helps prevent heat transfer.
